(FLYR) Standard Single Drive Flyer: Pictured in third photo. Fits Ashford Traditional or Traveller single drive wheels. Orifice is 1cm (“). Traditional and Traveller wheels purchased before Fall 1990 feature only 2 speeds. This speed flyer updates your wheel and gives you 3 ratios (6.5:1, 12.5:1 and 17.5:1 for the Traditional; 5.5:1, 9.5:1 and 13.5:1 for the Traveller), making it much more versatile and more efficient for fine yarn spinning.
(DDFW) Standard Double Drive Flyer & Whorl: Double Drive Flyer comes with one bobbin and a three speed whorl which fits Traditional, Traveller or Elizabeth. The older whorls may not work with this flyer so one is included.
(BJFU) Basic Jumbo Flyer Unit: For Traditional and Traveller wheels. The large bobbin and orifice allow spinning chunky and novelty yarns or production spinning and plying. Includes a large 19mm(3/4in) orifice bearing, jumbo flyer and 1 jumbo bobbin. Very quick and easy to fit just swap the maid upright bearing. Ratios: 4.5, 7.5, 9.5, 13.5. Included accessories: 1 jumbo bobbin, threading hook and instructions Drive band to replace existing drive band Brake band and 2 tension springs to replace existing brake band Jumbo bush to insert when spinning fine yarns Reducer bush – so you can use your standard flyer without changing the bearing. Hi-Speed Double Drive Adaptor Kit: Fits the Elizabeth and double drive Traditional and Traveller wheels. Spin super-fine yarns using the range of higher ratios. The kit includes Double Drive Flyer and 4 high-speed bobbins and whorl.
Quill Spindle: Fits Traditional, Traveller and Elizabeth. Replace the flyer on your Traditional, Traveller or Elizabeth spinning wheel and enjoy the ancient craft of quill spinning. When spinning from the point a spinner can spin any weight/diameter yarn. The spindle is also useful for bobbin winding. Made from Silver Beech hardwood and strong polished steel.
