Returns Simplified.Ashland Bay came out with a collection of really yummy merino/tussah solids in an 80/20 blend of merino 64’s (21.5 micron) and tussah silk. This wonderful fiber blend is great for spinning or for any kind of felting project, wet, nuno, or needle. The fibers for this product are blended first and then dyed, so the silk, which takes dye differently, gives the top a high luster, two tone depth. Ultra fine and silky, Scarlet is a bright and true red, quite glossy, courtesy of the tussah. Of course it still has a lovely hand and is “next to skin” soft, with a truly decadent feel to it.
