Super heavy gesso

Liquitex gesso is a background with a thick and smooth consistency which ensures a better colour adherence and which can also be coloured. Versatile, Liquitex gesso can be mixed with a large variety of mediums. It adheres to the textures of various surfaces. It can be used to achieve acrylic, oil, gouache or casein works. It can be diluted in water, dries quickly and gives a glossy finish which does not yellow.

Important information :
At least three coats of Gesso must be applied before painting in oil.
Do not sand.
Do not mix with oil.
Supports : canvas, cardboard, paper, plaster, wood and non-greasy surfaces. Drying time : 24 h.
