SLAB W/HARDWARE 3″ THICK 31.5 – 36″

We make replacement lid/floor brick slabs for any kiln on the market and have templates for most models. Hardware consists of a band a handle and reinforcing added for the handle and hinge.

For lids, the top half of the hinge is normally transferred from the old lid to the new lid at the time of installation. If the kiln is quite old, or in poor condition, assess the condition of the hinge if it is to be re-used.

If the top half of the hinge is still in reasonable condition, you should be able to transfer it. If you want to touch up the paint, we recommend Tremclad High Heat paint which is available in spray cans.
