By replacing the silk with a transparent plastic resin that sprayed over a lightweight steel frame, Nelson developed a light source that he crafted into several organic, elemental shapes.The Nelson Cigar Bubble Pendant includes a ceiling plate of brushed, nickel-plated steel and a 10-foot cord, is UL listed, and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included).
