Gdo Light Plaster is a low-density plaster recommended for casting hanging decorations. A light, economical and easy to paint product that professionals, craftspeople and students alike will appreciate.
Usage:
- Recommended mixing ratio: 1.5 parts powder to 1 part water
- Demoulding: recommended after 30 minutes
Preparation:Pour water into a large container. Disperse the plaster over the entire surface of the water. Let the plaster absorb the water for 1 to 2 minutes without mixing. Then mix gently and allow air bubbles to rise. Never add water after mixing. Slowly pour the plaster along the wall of the mould. For complex shapes, empty and start a second time.
Tips:
- Cold water slows the setting of the plaster, hot water or beating speeds it up.
- To speed up the drying process, place the object in a microwave oven for a few moments.
- Milk mixed with water will polish the object giving it a marbled appearance.
- Add an acrylic colour to the water to colour the plaster in the mass. Spreading it in the preparation will give marbled effects.
