The curve on Foot Tool #2 makes it easy to support or avoid the walls of your vessel while creating a foot on your piece. The flat bottom of this tool allows you to steady it against your bat or wheel head while the small cutouts at the ends create a rounded foot at the base of your vessel while it’s still spinning on the wheel. The Foot #2 tool also make great ribs as you can use any side of them to help pull, smooth, and shape your clay.
