Ashford Kiwi High Speed Kit

With this kit the Kiwi can spin finer, high-twist yarn. This kit is simple, with just 2 components–a new poly-cord drive band and a higher speed whorl. The standard whorl that comes with an Ashford Kiwi has ratios of 5.5 and 7.25:1; with this kit the ratios jump to 8:1, 11:1 and 14:1, speeds in the same range as the Traveler.

Note: Photo shows the high speed whorl in use on the Kiwi Wheel. This High Speed Kit contains just the whorl and belt.
