8 Inch Forest Floor Angelina

One of my custom made colors – first try at this recipe and I LOVE IT! Like walking a forest path and seeing all the amazing colors and shades of growing as well as fallen foliage. A lovely, earthy and dark Bronze base with splashes of greens, golds, brass and rust. A very versatile color to be used in with natural color wool that you don’t want to add any bright or garish color to. Darker than Forest Blaze and reflective of many more colors than straight Bronze. Chose half ounce or whole ounce from the drop down box.

Angelina is a very unique fiber as it is both light reflective and light refractive. A fantastic embellishment fiber, adding depth, dimension, visible “texture” as well as bling. You’ll frequently see it mixed in with yarn, felting, art batts and the like. For spinning or making art batts (or roulags), just a few fibers do a lot! Blended with other fibres in amounts as small as 2%, it gives sparkle and highlight to your projects, whether it’s yarn, batts or felt. Goes a LONG WAY – You can just “add a tad” while spinning singles or sprinkle a bit into your carder or blending board to liven up any color mix. To felt, simply lay it on top of your project or between your wool and the wool will tack it down. If layering between the wool, you’ll want just a thin over-layer of wool so that you don’t hide the wonderful sparkle and brightness of the Angelina.

Collections contain .1oz of each, .25 oz of each, or .5 oz of each color. Collections contain from 5 (your choice), 15 colors, 30, 50, 75, or 85 count (with more added all the time) colors. You may customize a collection of earthy Angelina tones, as pictured in the three colors in the fourth picture, showing Forest along with Gold Iris (a bright sand color) and Copper.
