22 Gauge Floral & Armature Craft Wire

This wire is typically used for floral stems but works excellent as armature wire for your needle felted animals, people, trees,… anything that needs to stand or sit up, rather than a flat surface felting. There are books and tutorials online to demonstrate how to make armature bases for you needle felted projects, quick and easy. I have found that the 22 gauge is the best for flexibility, while still strong enough to maintain the shape and/or bend-ability of your finished item. Listing is for 30, 18″ wires. These can, of course, be cut to smaller lengths if you making miniatures. With a larger (larger than 6″ or 7″ project, I’d advise a 20 gauge wire.) Green is a neutral enough color, easier to hide inside a project than bare wire or stark white, which may show through bare spots in your felt. For larger amounts, just convo me.
