Toika Upright Swift

This swift can be used instead of an umbrella swift,when you need to unwind a skein of yarn, either onto a warping board for weavers, or into a ball for knitters and crocheters.

The wonderful thing about a squirrel cage swift is that it is very smooth and easy on yarn, holds it tense enough to unwind, but not so tense that it will break.

This style of swift is suitable for any type of yarn. However, is particularly good for delicate yarn as you can set it for light tension on the yarn.
