It’s not as jewel toned as midnight and other blues, with more gray hue to its blue color, keeping it earthy. Still more blue than charcoal, it’s lighter than Black-Blue, which I carry from Ashland Bay. It’s great for more realistic night sky or deep ocean toned projects. I will include this colorway in my Expanded Blues collection also, pictured at the bottom. The creme de la creme’ of fine merino as soft as can be, wonderful for spinning and any kind of felting – perfect for “next to skin” projects!
This fabulous fiber is produced by DHG and is a next to skin, fine micron merino. All merino wool lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in their dyeinghouse which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
