Sturdy, hard pressed cardboard spools will fit most current standard spool racks. Use a double ended bobbin winder or you may modify your single ended bobbin winder (wrap with tape) for winding. Great for storing those singles that are waiting to be plied. Spools measure approximately 4″ long X 4″ wide with a core measurement of 3/8″ inside diameter. Buy as many as you want. I will list them in options of 1, 2, or 4. Because of USPS minimum shipping charges, it is much more economical to buy four than one or two. A package of 10 spools are only $21.95 but there is an additional $4 added into their price to cover the bulkier shipping.

Schacht recently upgraded these bobbins/spools. They are now reinforced on the core ends with metal, making them significantly more durable.
