The Slim stick shuttles measure 10″ or 15″ and are 1 1/16″ wide. Schacht Stick Shuttles have a slim profile that fits through the narrowest of sheds The smooth finish won’t snag delicate warps. These simplest, most popular and most versatile of all shuttles are used with rigid heddle, tapestry and hand looms. Schacht Stick Shuttles are available in 9, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24 and 30 lengths. 24″ and 30″ shuttles are in their own listing. USPS requires any item over 22″ ship by Priority Mail now so the shipping on those lengths is slightly higher.
We recommend you choose a stick shuttle slightly longer than the width of your warp. Thickness of these shuttles is about 3/16″.
Belt shuttles are 8″ long, and beveled with flat and knife edge as well as grooved for center wrap of yarn/string.
