General High-purity, micronized sodium hectorite clay, consisting of microfine particles for emulsion stabilizing, gelling, suspending, binding and ceramics applications.
Functional High-yielding hectorite clay that exhibits high efficiency, excellent rheology.

The high MgO, CaO and low Al2O3 give this material a chemistry that is unlike other typical fine particled clays.

Purity Composed principally of the clay mineral hectorite.
Solubility Insoluble in water or alcohol;
one gram of clay produces a surface area greater than 750 sq. meters when fully dispersed.
