Shade variations and minor imperfections in our Graphite Patina finish are inherent to our artisan finishing process giving each light a rich artisan quality. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Quickly wipe away any splatters or sprays, especially in bathroom and kitchen environments, using a soft, damp cloth and then dry with a soft cloth.
Never use brass polish or harsh chemicals. Avoid contact with ammonia, bleach, acidic, or abrasive cleaners, which will reduce the lifespan and effectiveness of the lacquer coating and accelerate oxidation. Quickly blot away water from metal surfaces to prevent water spots and mineral deposits. Over time, lacquer can wear off due to regular use, the environment, or exposure to oils or chemicals. Our lacquer is not marine grade and may not hold up as well in salty, coastal locations or unvented, moist rooms.
